Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Personal Care Assistant to join their team in Greenville, MS. Responsibilities:
Provide direct personal care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or behavioral needs Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a supervising clinician or behavior specialist Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility Monitor, document, and report behavioral changes, progress, and incidents accurately Use positive reinforcement strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage skill development Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and programs daily Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support client goals
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; coursework in psychology, social work, or human services preferred Prior experience working with individuals with behavioral, developmental, or intellectual disabilities preferred Familiarity with behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA principles is a plus Strong communication, patience, and de-escalation skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Valid Mississippi driver's license and reliable transportation preferred CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
