3:00 PM•11:00 PM, based on program needs Position Summary We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and dependable Qualified Professional (QP) to provide professional support and oversight for children and adolescents residing in a residential/group home setting. The QP will work collaboratively with direct-care staff, supervisors, families, and other service providers to promote the safety, stability, development, and well-being of each child. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adolescents in a residential, behavioral health, mental health, foster care, group home, or related human-services setting . Essential Responsibilities Provide professional oversight and support for children and adolescents in the residential program. Monitor each child's progress toward individualized goals and treatment objectives. Assist with the development, implementation, and review of individualized service/treatment plans as applicable. Provide guidance and support to direct-care staff regarding children's needs and behavioral strategies. Monitor documentation to ensure services and interventions are properly documented. Participate in team meetings, care coordination, and case consultations. Communicate with families, guardians, case managers, clinicians, schools, and other service providers as appropriate. Identify changes in a child's behavior, functioning, or needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or treatment team. Assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and safety planning. Ensure services are provided in accordance with agency policies and applicable North Carolina requirements. Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy and dignity of each child. Complete required documentation accurately and within required timeframes. Provide consultation and support to residential staff during assigned hours. Participate in required training, supervision, and professional development. Perform other duties related to the position as assigned. Required Qualifications Must meet the applicable North Carolina Qualified Professional education, training, and experience requirements for the services being provided. Relevant professional experience working with children or adolescents is required. Experience in residential services, behavioral health, mental health, developmental disabilities, foster care, or child welfare is strongly preferred. Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, staff, and outside professionals. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Must successfully complete required background checks and employment screenings. Must maintain required credentials, certifications, and training. Reliable transportation may be required depending on program responsibilities. Schedule Part-Time•Minimum 10 hours per week Primary work hours are generally 3:00 PM•11:00 PM , with the specific schedule determined by program needs and employee availability. Additional hours may be available based on program needs.
