Description:
Memorial Community Health, Inc. is in search of a part-time Resident Assistant for our long-term facility, Memorial Community Care. This position offers 8-20 flexible hours per week, with scheduling that can accommodate school commitments. The role does require alternating weekends and holidays as part of the schedule. The Resident Assistant provides compassionate, high-quality care and support to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal assistance, while observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
Job Duties:
Meets resident basic needs by assisting with routine responsibilities. Meets resident safety needs as appropriate. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patient and resident medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience preferred Ability to understand regular and modified diets
