Job Description

Recovery Assistant -
Residential Eating Disorder Program Schedule:
7:00pm to 7:30am, 3 nights per week including one weekend shift.
Role Description:
We are seeking compassionate individuals with strong interpersonal skills who desire hands-on experience working in a clinical setting to join our team as Recovery Assistants. Our interdisciplinary treatment team is highly collaborative and passionate about helping our patients recover. We pride ourselves on offering excellent care to the girls and young women who need our help and doing so in a beautiful and healing treatment setting.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support patients in our residential treatment setting throughout the day, evening, and night Maintain the structure of the patient schedule Facilitate recreational activities Transport patients to and from outside medical appointments in a company vehicle Provide mealtime support and supervise the patients in accordance with program guidelines Education and training are inclusive with the position
Qualifications:
Be at least 21 years of age (required) Valid driver's license and insurable on company insurance (required) Background in psychology or a related field and a working knowledge of eating disorders or mental health issues (preferred) Ability to go up and down stairs, ability to life up to 40 lbs, prolonged sitting or standing (required) Must have one of the following: A high school or high school equivalency diploma and one year of experience working with children in a group setting or; An associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field that is unrelated to social work or psychology and six months experience working with children in a group setting or; An associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field
Pay:
We offer highly competitive wage bases for the Recovery Assistant role. Pay range is $19.00-$23.00/hour, depending on relevant work experience and level of education.
