Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to join our compassionate team in Galloway, New Jersey. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior plans and support their growth and independence. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive behavioral change, promote skill development, and enhance quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques tailored to each individual's needs. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks. Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, teachers, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans. Foster a safe and supportive environment by managing behavior effectively and promoting positive reinforcement techniques. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus. Strong communication skills and patience are essential for working effectively with clients, families, and team members. Experience in special education or teaching environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key. Pay:
$23.84 - $28.72 per hour Application Question(s): Are you available Monday through Friday 4:00 to 6:00?
