Minimum Offer $17.46 Maximum Offer $25.96Summary:
Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Performs procedures with completed and documented competency, within organizations MA scope of work, PHS policy and under the supervision of a provider. Administers approved medications under the order and supervision of the provider. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Presbyterian is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Urgent Care Clinic . Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR.
