Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA), with a passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will support the implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress and improved quality of life for clients. Responsibilities Assist in conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Collect, analyze, and document data accurately during therapy sessions to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments. Collaborate with licensed behavior analysts, therapists, educators, and families to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across settings. Maintain detailed medical records, documentation of patient care, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Participate in intake procedures, initial assessments, and ongoing patient evaluations to support comprehensive diagnostic processes. Promote a safe and respectful environment that fosters positive behavioral health outcomes through patient care and patient assessment activities. Qualifications Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education practices. Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations concerning medical records and patient privacy. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients' families, team members, and external professionals. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately while maintaining attention to detail in documentation processes. Pay:
