Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Associate to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, and addiction issues. Your energetic approach will help foster a safe, supportive environment where clients can work toward their recovery and personal growth. You will play an essential part in implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities Assist in conducting intake assessments and behavioral evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized care plans Support clients with daily activities, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and behavior management strategies Implement applied behavior analysis techniques and crisis intervention protocols to de-escalate challenging situations effectively Collect and document medical records, behavioral data, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for individuals with disabilities, autism, or other developmental challenges Engage in social work practices by providing emotional support, facilitating group activities, and promoting social skills development Respond promptly to crises or emergencies through crisis management procedures while maintaining a calm and proactive approach Qualifications Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and addiction counseling methods Ability to accurately measure vital signs and perform basic medical procedures within scope of practice Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and data collection methods in behavioral health settings Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills for effective patient care coordination and documentation Prior experience in special education or social work is preferred but not required Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through compassionate mental health support.
