Key responsibilities include:
Implementing Individual Life and Staff Action Plans Providing training in adult living skills with dignity and respect Executing agency and program policies and procedures Maintaining a person-centered planning approach Participating in staff meetings and individual supervision Advocating for individuals' rights Maintaining confidentiality of individuals' information Supervising individuals to ensure their safety Familiarizing with behavior support programs Shopping for supplies and maintaining a clean learning environment Ensuring individuals are appropriately dressed Transporting individuals as needed Using crisis intervention and calming techniques Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings and on-going in-service training such as: Successfully complete AMAP Certification and administer medications as prescribed by a doctor (s) to the individuals as soon as scheduled, within 90 days of hire. Successfully complete Tube feeding training, Diabetic Training, Colostomy training, and any specialized certification, if required, within 90 days of hire.Job Type:
