Job Description

Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) We are seeking compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Specialists to join our team and support individuals on their unique recovery journeys. In this role, you will use your lived experience to inspire hope, provide meaningful peer support, and empower individuals to achieve lasting wellness and self-advocacy. You will play a key role in coaching and guiding individuals through daily activities while modeling positive coping strategies, resilience, and recovery-oriented practices. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized peer support and health coaching focused on: Self-advocacy Wellness management Medication adherence Smoking cessation Accessing entitlements Daily living skills Share personal recovery experiences to promote hope, empowerment, and effective coping strategies Offer mentorship, encouragement, and emotional support to individuals receiving mental health services Assist individuals in setting, working toward, and achieving personal recovery goals Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times Qualifications Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) Certification required Personal lived experience with emotional or mental health challenges and recovery (this may include personal experience or supporting a close family member) Willingness to appropriately share lived experience to support others in their recovery Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Empathetic, dependable, and self-motivated Non-judgmental, recovery-oriented mindset Commitment to client-centered care Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and inclusive team environment Comprehensive training and mentorship programs Employee perks and discounts Opportunities for career growth and advancement

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
