CPEP/Inpatient/Outpatient Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Associate DON for the Behavioral Health Department to oversee patient care operations, staff performance, and nursing unit management across CPEP, inpatient, and outpatient behavioral health services. The role includes developing programs to improve patient care quality, monitoring staff performance, supporting nurse managers with corrective actions, and maintaining systems for medication error tracking and counseling documentation.

Responsibilities:

Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance Monitor patient care performance across behavioral health units Assess nursing units alongside nurse managers Communicate and assist with corrective action processes Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling Support Behavioral Health nursing leadership operations Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role required Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing nursing staff and patient care operations

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program required Master's Degree in Nursing preferred

Certifications & Licensure:

Active RN License required Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYSED required BLS Certification required

Language Requirement:

English (Speak, Read, Write)
