$15.00 per hour

Full-Time Introduction We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The Medical Assistant will provide support to clinical staff and assist with day-to-day patient care activities, administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with patients, and able to provide a welcoming and professional experience for individuals receiving behavioral health services. Responsibilities Welcome and assist clients during appointments Obtain and record vital signs and other clinical information Assist providers with patient intake and documentation Maintain accurate and timely medical records Assist with medication-related tasks as directed by clinical staff Coordinate communication between clients, providers, and administrative staff Assist with scheduling, referrals, and other clinical administrative duties Ensure patient information is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Support quality improvement and compliance activities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems Preferred Experience Experience working in a behavioral health, medical office, or outpatient setting Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Experience obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient intake Experience working with insurance, referrals, or medical documentation Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $15.00/hour Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to grow within a developing behavioral health organization If you are a compassionate, reliable, and organized Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of clients, we encourage you to apply.
