Job Description
Cadence Care Network believes in building a cohesive team. We know that our employees are our most valuable assets in delivering quality service to the children and families that we serve. Cadence Care Network has a Part Time Respite Provider position available to service Trumbull and Mahoning counties. Respite Provider will give short term temporary relief to the caregiver of eligible individuals with mental health challenges or other special needs. The goal of such services is to provide relief that will allow youth to remain in their current living arrangement. This is a great position for college students majoring in psychology, social work, and other similar programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Mentor young people and model skills that will help them successfully minimize the negative impact of behavioral health issues. Engage clients through youthfriendly, culturally appropriate, and youthempowerment approaches. Participate in the implementation of tailored supports and services to be individualized, developmentally appropriate, appealing, nonstigmatizing, traumainformed, and relevant to each young person. Teach and reinforce social, dailyliving, and community functioning skills as relevant to a young person through role play skill development and practice. Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of individuals served.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver license and provision of transportation, insurance and the ability to use your vehicle for work. Experience working with individuals having behavioral health and/or developmental needs.
