Mental Health Therapist Job-specific benefits. Malpractice insurance, licensure registration, and may qualify for student loan forgiveness for Public Service (PSLF). Primary Duties Provide triage, assessment, individual, family, and group counseling, as well as crisis services for clients ages 5 to 24 and their families. Complete all required documentation related to client care in a timely manner, including comprehensive assessment and service plan at intake and service notes following each session. Screen potential clients at referral for Rapid Access, Brief Therapy, or Routine Therapy and schedule assessment within the policy guidelines for each service. Provide case management and consultation services for children and families as needed to ensure continuity of care. Requirements Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another mental health-related field.

Meet either requirement below:

LPC, LMFT

license with at least one year of clinical practice with children and families, including abuse survivors (preferred) OR Associate license with at least 1,500 hours of supervised direct client contact (minimum requirement if not fully licensed) Fluency in Spanish is Preferred. 40 hours of training in evidence-based treatments of trauma Must be able to pass a criminal background, DHS Child Welfare Registry, and sex offender registry checks before employment.
