Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated behavior specialist working within a supportive educational setting near Lancaster, PA. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current BCBA certification and experience working as a Behavior Specialist in school settings Familiarity with CPI techniques; training is available if needed Strong skills collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Experience developing and modeling behavioral plans for educational staff Ability to provide insightful observations and recommendations in both general education and specialized classroom environments Effective communication and leadership skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in team meetings and calls regarding students experiencing behavioral challenges Deliver support and guidance in both autism support (AS) and emotional support (ES) classrooms Model practical behavioral interventions for staff and assist with ongoing behavioral training Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to improve student engagement and outcomes Oversee data collection, analyze trends, and make actionable suggestions to enhance behavioral support plans Ensure regular on-site presence and availability to students and staff during school hours Embrace this opportunity to build collaborative relationships and foster environments where students can thrive.
