Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Animal Behavior, in the Department of Psychology and the Program in Biological Foundations of Behavior, beginning August 2027. Appointment is for nine months per year (August - May). The rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor depending on qualifications.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess or be nearing completion of a doctorate degree in Psychology, Biology, Anthropology, Animal Sciences, or another relevant discipline. We are interested in candidates who can teach Animal Behavior with Lab, relevant upper-level research and seminar courses, research design and statistics, and courses that contribute to the College's general education program. The teaching load is 3/2. Faculty maintain active research programs and contribute to the College's shared governance. The College maintains a Vivarium that is available to support teaching and research activities. To learn more about the Animal Behavior program, please follow this link .
