Job Description
Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance has immediate openings for a full time Behavior Intervention Specialist I for our school based program (SMART). This position is full time, with 10 weeks paid vacation. It is stationary in 1 of 3 elementary schools in Meadville, Pa. Our BIS I staff work on a team providing mental health groups and interventions to students in our school based programs. Responsibilities Conduct daily therapeutic groups Implement Individualized Treatment Plans Deliver and model treatment interventions Provide positive reinforcement to the clients and their families Utilize professional boundaries with all clients and families Qualifications Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma. One years of experience working with children is required. Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background and FBI Clearances must be obtained.
