Job Description

CNA / Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) - Night Shift 5
Open Positions Available Shift:
Nights | 12:00 AM - 8:30
AM Schedule:
Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Required Job Duties:
Provide direct patient care and support in a behavioral health setting. Maintain patient safety through continuous observation and monitoring. Recognize and respond appropriately to behavioral crises and escalating situations. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. Maintain therapeutic relationships while upholding professional boundaries. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for patients. Document observations and communicate patient status changes promptly.
Required qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of Behavioral Health experience preferred Current CNA certification (if required by state/facility) Strong crisis-management and de-escalation skills Ability to maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic rapport Excellent communication and observation skills Preferred qualifications Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment Physical ability to support patient care activities, including potential restraint use per facility policy Commitment to trauma-informed care and patient-centered practices. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
