Community Intervention Center 445 North 6th Avenue Scranton, PA 18503 Telephone (570) 342-4298 (570) 558-7125 Fax (570) 343-2804 www.communityinterventioncenter.org Agency Support Staff Full-Time About the Community Intervention Center The Community Intervention Center (CIC) has been serving the community for over 50 years by providing respectful, comprehensive services to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and housing instability. CIC's mission is to offer marginalized individuals services that encourage personal empowerment, self-sustaining recoveries, and housing stability in a safe, supportive environment. Position Summary The Agency Support Staff position is responsible for providing daily operational support to all agency programs and staff. This position includes day room coverage, assisting Permanent Supportive Housing Case Managers, assisting our Safe Haven Case Manager, completing agency-related runs and errands, light maintenance and helping maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for program participants. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, professional, and comfortable working with individuals experiencing behavioral health and housing-related challenges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide coverage and support within the agency day room/drop-in center. Assist Permanent Supportive Housing staffwith apartment move-ins, apartment inspections, clean-outs and other tasks as needed. Complete agency runs Client transportation-related tasks Maintain professional interactions with clients, staff, and community partners. Assist with organizing supplies, donations, and basic facility support. Light maintenance Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants. Follow agency policies, confidentiality standards, and safety procedures. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with behavioral health, addiction, and homelessness. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable transportation and valid driver's license required. Will be required to drive a large cargo van. Ability to perform light physical tasks related to apartment move-ins, clean-outs, and maintenance work around agency. Schedule o Full-Time o Includes Sundays, 1 :00p.m. to 6:00p.m. and some holidays.
