Job Description

The Behavior Place LLC is growing! We are a small, family-owned, ABA practice that has a focus of providing the highest quality of ABA services to families in and around the Fredericksburg area. We are currently hiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts to oversee in-home and center based ABA services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or related disorders in the Fredericksburg area. We do not provide ongoing therapy on Saturday or Sunday!
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The BCBA's main focus is to use Applied Behavioral Analysis principles for our clients who are diagnosed with Autism. Our BCBAs provide therapy to increase socialization, play and language skills, while minimizing or eliminating challenging behaviors. Our BCBAs design and direct the implementation of treatment goals, individualized to each client and family needs. This includes initial functional assessment, behavior plan development and team training. In addition, our BCBAs provide support through direct and indirect consultation to the client and the client's family, ultimately cultivating in individualized services to improve the quality of life of children and families.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in related field (required)/Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (preferred)
  • BACB Certified (required)
  • Experience with assessments and treatment formulation and data analysis
  • Experience designing and applying strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience conducting and completing functional assessments
  • Experience developing individualized program goals and treatment plans for client and their family, to include classroom, community and home environments where appropriate
  • Experience monitoring ongoing implementation of program goals, evaluation of progress and adjustment to the individualized programs as necessary
  • Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians. To include monitoring the implementation of the treatment plan goals, conducting mandated supervision meetings, providing support and guidance
  • Experience teaching the parents strategies, in accordance with the treatment plan, using techniques such as modeling, coaching and role play
  • Demonstration of effective verbal and written communication skills

  • $5000 sign on bonus for a Full time BCBA
  • depending on level of education, certification and experience our BCaBA/LABA pay scale is $35-$40 and hour.
