Associate Mental Health Clinician Position We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate associate marriage and family therapist or associate clinical social worker to join our team. The position is part-time 24 hrs/week, hybrid, in-person from our Long Beach office with telehealth option as needed by clients. Must be open to gradually building a caseload. Clinician must be bilingual and proficient in English/Spanish. We are a small group practice providing psychotherapy to a diverse population. We are looking for clinicians who are culturally competent and have experience working with the Latinx and BIPOC community, are LGBTQ+ affirming, and believe in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. We provide a supportive team environment and are looking for clinicians with a positive attitude, eager to learn and willing to work collaboratively with all clinicians on our team.

Psychotherapist Responsibilities:

Conduct in-person and/or telehealth sessions on a weekly basis. Provide direct patient care to children, individuals, families, and couples. Carry a caseload of up to 24 clients a week. Available for in-person sessions minimum three days a week at our Long Beach office. Complete Intake assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation in a timely manner. Comply with HIPAA requirements of privacy and access of records. Attend and participate in individual or group clinical supervision meetings on a weekly basis. Ability to establish confidential and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. Ability to provide resources and referrals to clients as needed. Demonstrate a willingness to be receptive to feedback, work respectfully and collaboratively with our team. Conduct self in a professional manner, work independently, and offer a flexible schedule.

Psychotherapist Requirements:

A master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy. Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an

AMFT, ASW, APCC

in CA and in good standing. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Flexibility to slowly and gradually build caseload. Flexibility to work some evenings. Attendance to weekly one-hour individual and/or two-hour group clinical supervision meetings. Attendance to in-person monthly/quarterly staff meetings. Access to a remote workspace that is private, quiet and has access to a reliable internet connection. Familiar with using a video-conferencing platform or electronic health records sites and technology. Experience in working with Latinx, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ populations. Specialized training preferred but not required (EMDR, Brainspotting, Trauma-Informed, Somatic, EFT, Gottman, Couples, etc.)
