In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health support to residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and progress toward personal goals. Your expertise will help create a nurturing environment where individuals with diverse needs—including mental health challenges—can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while working within a supportive and dynamic team. Applicant must be able to work minimum 10 hrs per week in person.

Education Requirements/Experience:

an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession OR a graduate of a college or university with a Masters degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, pre

• or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised mh/dd/sa experience with the population served OR a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, pre
• or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised mh/dd/sa experience with the population served Responsibilities Deliver direct support to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration Monitor residents' mental and physical health by taking vital signs and observing behavioral changes Implement individualized care plans focused on behavioral management Maintain a safe environment through cleaning, safety checks, and adherence to health protocols Support residents' social engagement by facilitating activities that promote independence and community involvement Document resident progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and complete incident reports as needed Assist with transportation duties, including driving residents to appointments or community outings when required Requirements Valid certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) or equivalent licensure Experience working in residential settings.

Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures including first aid Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly desirable Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and maintain accurate documentation Strong caregiving skills with a focus on behavior management and supporting independence Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities within the community or home & community care settings Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated support and compassionate care!
