In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort during overnight hours. Your energetic and proactive approach will foster a secure and nurturing environment, helping residents feel valued and cared for throughout the night. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, behavioral health needs, and crisis intervention. Your responsibilities will include monitoring residents, assisting with medication administration, and managing behavioral or conflict situations with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities Supervise residents during overnight hours, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans Respond promptly to resident needs, providing assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily routines Conduct regular wellness checks, monitoring for signs of distress or health issues Manage crisis situations through effective crisis intervention techniques and conflict management skills Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures Document resident activities, incidents, and behavioral observations accurately in data entry systems Support case management efforts by collecting relevant information during intake and ongoing assessments Maintain a secure environment by adhering to security protocols and conducting routine safety checks Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and behavioral health interventions Qualifications Prior supervising experience in healthcare, social work, or related fields preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and conflict management techniques Experience in childcare, behavioral health, addiction counseling or home & community care highly desirable Ability to perform first aid and respond appropriately in emergency situations Familiarity with medication administration procedures and documentation standards Data collection, filing, and data entry skills for maintaining accurate records LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) or similar housing program experience is a plus Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in all interactions Join us in creating a safe, supportive environment where residents feel cared for around the clock!
