Job Description

Position Overview The Licensed Therapist or Associate-Level Therapist is a, W-2 employee position, clinical provider who delivers evidence-based mental health counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups at Alamo Ranch Counseling & Wellness, in person or via telehealth. This role primarily serves teens, couples, and families, with the capacity to also serve adults presenting with trauma, as clinically appropriate. This part-time position requires the ability to maintain a schedule of 22 to 24 client sessions per week, including consistent evening and/or Saturday hours to meet client demand. Primary Focus Due to the needs of our community, this role centers on working with: Teens Couples, including high-conflict couples Families Complex trauma We are seeking clinicians who are motivated to build skill and confidence in relational and trauma-informed work. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Provide in-person and telehealth counseling services in accordance with practice policies Maintain a consistent schedule of 22 to 24 sessions per week, including evenings and/or Saturdays Maintain caseload and performance expectations Practice within scope and adhere to all ethical and legal standards Seek consultation, supervision, or referral when clinically appropriate Documentation and Communication Complete all clinical documentation within 48 hours Maintain accurate, current, and compliant client records Respond to client, administrative, and team communication within 48 hours Client Care and Coordination Collaborate with treatment teams as clinically appropriate Follow practice policies related to billing, payments, and operations Refer clients to a higher level of care when needed Team Participation Attend required meetings, supervision, and trainings Collaborate respectfully and professionally with team members Follow communication channels and raise concerns appropriately Participate in outreach, psychoeducation, or content creation as needed Contribute one blog post per quarter when requested Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work Active Texas license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Associate-level equivalent) Availability to maintain 22 to 24 sessions per week, including evenings and Saturdays At least one clinical niche or specialty area Interest in working with teens, couples, families, and trauma Attachment-informed or trauma-informed approach, or willingness to develop one Prior private practice experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Alignment with the mission and values of Alamo Ranch Counseling & Wellness Growth Opportunity This role begins as part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as caseload and practice needs expand. The practice is committed to supporting clinician development and creating space for long-term growth.
