Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults. You will collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote positive behavioral change and skill development. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based strategies to foster skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive care delivery. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participate in intake processes, patient care planning, and staff training to support ongoing client success. Requirements Current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management. Ability to perform patient care activities with compassion and professionalism while adhering to HIPAA standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers. Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field; additional training or experience in special education or behavioral health is preferred.
