Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Behavior Support Provider in a supportive educational environment near Springfield, VT! This full-time contracted opportunity is perfect for dedicated professionals—including Paraprofessionals, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and those with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience—who are passionate about student success and eager to contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking behavior program. You will work within a collaborative team, supporting students across four school buildings as you help shape the district's newest initiatives. The upcoming academic year offers an exciting chance to participate in pilot projects as the behavior program is rebuilt under the guidance of a newly appointed district BCBA. Preference is given to RBTs with access to outside BCBA supervision, creating a robust, growth-minded setting.
Desired Background and Skills:
Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or Behavior Specialist in educational settings Competency implementing or supporting ABA strategies and behavior interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Flexibility to adapt to evolving pilot projects and program changes Passion for supporting students with diverse behavioral needs across K-12
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior support strategies under BCBA supervision Assist students in achieving social, emotional, and academic goals Monitor progress, document behavior data, and contribute to team meetings Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to ensure student needs are met Engage actively in ongoing training and professional development This contract role offers a stable, 35-37.5 hour work week from late August 2026 through June 2027.
