Must be available to work across all shift hours.

• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shelter Staff to join our team.

As a Shelter Staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, social work, and case management. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while also fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. This position requires nights and weekends. This position is ideal for someone who can be available on minimal notice to cover shift call outs, training , and vacations.

• Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to shelter residents.
• Conduct crisis interventions and develop individualized plans to address behavioral health concerns.
• Perform case management tasks, including data collection, documentation, and communication with leadership on incidents during shift.
• Utilize conflict management and behavioral management techniques to maintain a peaceful and safe shelter environment.
• Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
• Collaborate with other shelter staff members to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.

• Prior experience working in a shelter or homeless services
• Strong understanding of crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
