CAP Youth Care Worker (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities)
Pay:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour $500 Full-Time Retention Bonus Full-time CAP Youth Care Workers hired between May 1, 2026, and August 1, 2026, are eligible for a $500 retention bonus after 120 days of continuous, satisfactory employment, in accordance with company policy. Job Summary King's Home is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our Crisis and Assessment Program (CAP) as Youth Care Workers. Immediate openings are available for both full-time and part-time positions. CAP Youth Care Workers provide safety, structure, supervision, and emotional support for youth experiencing behavioral and emotional crises in a residential setting. This position requires the ability to implement behavior management strategies, including physical escorts, restraints, seclusion, and time-out procedures when necessary and in accordance with training and agency policy. This role is ideal for individuals interested in behavioral health, direct care, crisis intervention, residential treatment, juvenile services, social services, psychology, education, or human services. Responsibilities Provide supervision and ensure the safety of youth in a crisis-oriented residential environment. Build positive relationships while modeling healthy, appropriate behaviors. Teach and reinforce daily living, coping, and life skills. Implement individualized behavior management and treatment plans. Utilize approved behavior management techniques, including physical escorts, restraints, seclusion, and time-outs when warranted. Transport youth as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Follow all CAP policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Work collaboratively with leadership and coworkers to provide consistent care.
Available Positions:
Full-Time Full-time schedule (assigned by program needs) 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Rotating weekend shifts Eligible for the $500 retention bonus Full benefits package Part-Time Up to 28 hours per week Weekend availability required Saturday and Sunday shifts: 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license. Clear criminal background. Clear driving record (no speeding tickets exceeding 15 mph over the posted speed limit). Current King's Home employees must be in good standing. Ability to complete CPR, First Aid, Managing Crisis Safely (MCS), and CAP-specific training within the first 30 days of employment. Ability to safely perform approved physical intervention techniques. Dependable, professional, and able to remain calm during crisis situations.
