Want to help change a life? www.eaglecrestrecovery.com Hiring for Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) positions! We have overnight shifts available at both locations. This position will help maintain operations and functioning of the treatment facility and the clients we serve. Ensure the smooth and efficient administration of care while maintaining the quality and integrity of services we provide. This position assists the RDS, Counselors, Therapists, and Administrators in setting the tone for the facility to ensure routines and schedules are being followed and met. Participate in developing and maintaining a therapeutic environment for clients as well as assisting clients in accomplishing treatment goals.
BHT Duties:
Hourly adherence to JCAHO and state clients care standards. Proficient documentation in KIPU Systems clients management software. Facility walk-throughs of care environment establishing a consistent presence and awareness of clients behavior. Positively interact with clients at all times and provides support Transports clients to community resources, transportations hubs and physician appointments Assisting with morning and bedtime routines Encouraging socially acceptable habits and behaviors (i.e personal hygiene and grooming, table manners, etc.) Enforcing policies and procedures Maintaining cleanliness of facility and food preparation as needed. Facilitating groups as needed, program activities, and maintaining clients schedules. Recurring assessment, interaction, observation, and documentation of clients on RTC level of care. Communicating thoroughly between shifts. Assisting as needed in Crisis Intervention. Assisting in clients discharge, facilitating clients transportation and continuity of care with next level of care environment and/or facility. Other duties as assigned by management. Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations, ADA, DHS, and Joint Commission policies and procedures. Documenting client daily progress. Maintaining cleanliness of medication office. Observing universal precautions and environment of care protocols and procedures Attends and/or facilitates staff in-service and other meetings when appropriate. Communicating thoroughly and accurately verbally and via TC communication App to ensure continuity of high quality of care. Crisis Intervention. Conducting client discharge, returning client personal items, logging and following instruction from medical staff.
Competencies:
Ability to multi-task, delegate tasks, manage clients care, maintain facility standards. Desire to assist those with chemical dependency in their recovery
Education:
Minimum High School Graduate or GED.
Experience:
1 year experience in the field of recovery or equivalent human services work experience preferred. Prior experience in detox environment highly desired.
Computer Skills:
Computer Literacy in doc, spreadsheet, and email. Ability to learn proficiency in
KIPU Systems Clients Management Software Certificates & Licenses:
Valid Driver's License CPR/First AID Other Requirements:
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening
