Job Description

Habilitation Technician (Hab Tech) - Multiple Shifts Available (Full-Time, Weekends)
Location:
Phoenix, AZ Schedule:
PM (2:30pm-11:00pm) and Overnight (10:30pm-7:00am) shifts available (Shift preferences should be indicated during application) Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Habilitation Technicians (Hab Techs) to provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential care setting. This role focuses on promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals in a safe and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Individualized Support & Daily Living Assistance Implement individualized service plans to support skill development and independence Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, bathing, toileting, and meal preparation Support household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organization Encourage social development and community integration Provide behavioral support and follow established care plans Health & Safety Monitor and report changes in individuals' health or behavior Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment Assist with mobility, transfers, and lifting using proper techniques Documentation & Communication Complete accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and behavior logs Communicate effectively with team members and support networks Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans and document effectively Valid driver's license (role dependent) Ability to pass background check and meet compliance requirements Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility support Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting others Work Environment & Expectations Candidates must be comfortable working in environments that may include exposure to communicable illnesses Training will be provided for required certifications not already obtained Required Application Documents Applicants must be prepared to provide the following upon request: Resume TB test documentation CPR certification Fingerprint clearance (if applicable) Background check documentation Driver's license Additional onboarding forms as required If you're passionate about making a difference and supporting individuals in living more independent, fulfilling lives, we encourage you to apply! #IND2
