Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavioral Health Technician Class Facilitator, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse behavioral health needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead engaging group sessions, facilitate skill-building activities, and promote positive behavioral change. You will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate care and foster a safe, supportive environment. Your energetic approach and dedication will help empower individuals on their journey toward improved mental health and well-being. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate behavioral health classes and group activities tailored to participants' developmental and emotional needs Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure safety and promote positive outcomes Collect data on participant progress, behaviors, and treatment responses for ongoing evaluation and reporting Support individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or other mental health conditions through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Collaborate with social workers, medical staff, and families to develop personalized care plans and provide ongoing support in crisis situations
Qualifications:
Knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance Strong skills in data collection, behavioral health assessment, and patient care documentation Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
