Detox BHT Behavioral Health Technician Inpatient Detox Day Shift

Knowledge Full-time Position Summary:

Reports to Administrator regarding day-to-day activities in a detox facility. Runs psycho-educational groups, maintains rules, and reports patient concerns to the supervisor. Responsible for documentation, including, but not limited to, case management notes, ADLs, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Must be a team player and proactive. Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and BIO-Psych-Socials Assessments, Cleaning, Rounds, Assisting with ADLs as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications for

Position:

Must be 21 years of age or older Must have current fingerprint clearance or be able to obtain one Required to provide other shift duties Required to check food temperatures and serve prepared meals and snacks Cleaning and sanitizing bedrooms, bathrooms, dayroom etc. Must have medical training (CNA, EMT, MA) Behavioral health knowledge with case management Associates/Bachelors or college transcripts, Two to four years of related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess good verbal and written communication skills Must maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to take direction Must work well in a crisis setting and be willing to learn new crisis intervention techniques An employee is preferred to have experience with recovery and be familiar with community fellowships such as

AA, NA, SMART

Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, etc.
