Job Description

We are currently in need of someone for NOC shift 11pm-730am Sunday through Thursday
INTERRELATIONSHIPS
Maintains open communication lines with the program director.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Residential Technician is the entry-level position in the Clinical Services department. Residential Technicians are responsible for the shift-by-shift supervision of the client milieu and attending to the client's essential needs while on detoxification or residential status.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
High School Diploma preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in a human service setting; strong professional references attesting to a high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism. KIPU experience preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current registration as a Registered Recovery Worker Current certification in First Aid/CPR

Ability to follow instructions clearly and precisely while experiencing multiple competing demands for employee time.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Position requires work in a temperature-controlled environment; 80% - 90% of the time spent indoors. Potential exposure to violent situations. Routine tasks do not create potential exposure to airborne/blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
May include operating motor vehicles, lifting up to 20 lbs., constant monitoring of clients, and crisis intervention.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
Assistance with Case Management duties and/or documentation within Indah Recovery and DHCS timelines. Client rounds on a half-hour basis and documentation in KIPU. Responsible to read shift log at beginning of the shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by the conclusion of the shift. Complete new admission intake procedures according to Indah Recovery, LLC policies on all new admissions (UA, breathalyze, belongings searches, paperwork) Documentation of daily progress in client files. Overnight staff to document in progress notes client's quantity and quality of sleep. Medications for clients in accordance with Indah Recovery, LLC and DHCS guidelines. Administering detoxification protocols (completion of CIWA, COWS, vital signs, rounds) on all detoxification clients. Transportation of clients to appointments, meetings etc. Crisis Intervention. Logging of new medications or medication changes according to DHCS and Indah Recovery, LLC procedures. Filing, copies, other office duties as assigned. Assist, teach and/or supervise clients with general household chores, cleanliness, and food preparation/ clean up as required. Other duties as assigned.
Work Remotely No Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
