Job Description

Rising Tides Recovery Services is Urgently Hiring Behavioral Health Technicians with good driving record for the swing shift: 3:30pm-11:30pm! Rising Tides Recovery Services is a Dual Diagnosis Drug and Alcohol treatment center specializing in detox/residential level of care. We are located in the beautiful beach city of Dana Point, CA. Rising Tides Recovery Services provides a safe and comfortable environment for those seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction while maintaining a recovery-focused culture.
Primary Duties:
Transportation of clients Provide a safe, nurturing, and transparent environment in which clients can trust us to help them recover Supervise clients self-administer medications Observe and report concerning client behaviors De-escalation and quick problem solving Light housekeeping
Requirements:
Valid RADT or SUDRC Valid CPR and First Aid Certification Valid Driver License Good driving record as you must pass our auto insurance guidelines and verification Ability to maneuver an 11-passenger van safely An ability to manage tasks throughout the day with minimal supervision The integrity to ask for guidance and additional assistance when needed Strives for excellence, consistency, and commitment Ability to stay calm amid external chaos without minimizing the client's challenges while maintaining an environment in which the client feels valued and heard. Availability to work Saturday and Sunday The ideal candidate will have: Experience working in drug/alcohol treatment Knowledge of safe procedures to monitor client administration of medication Familiarity with 12-step programs and other self-help modalities Experience with the EMR system, KIPU •We are willing to train on any of the above items.
