Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, who have behavioral health challenges or mental health disabilities. This role is crucial in providing support and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals. The Behavior Technician will play a key role in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by supervisors and licensed professionals. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions. Provide patient care and support to clients in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist clients with daily living activities and promote independence. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies for behavior modification. Document medical information accurately and timely as required by organizational policies. Administer medication as prescribed, following established protocols. Engage with clients using therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs, including those with PTSD or other behavioral health issues. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Strong data collection skills to track client progress effectively. Ability to provide patient care compassionately while maintaining professional boundaries. Experience in social work or related fields is a plus. Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills when interacting with clients and their families.
