Full-Time | 11:15 PM•7:15 AM (paid meal period included) Position Overview Pacific Shores Recovery is seeking a reliable Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to oversee client safety, facility operations, and program adherence during overnight hours. This position is primarily custodial, observational, and safety-focused, with responsibility for maintaining structure, monitoring client activity, and ensuring the facility is prepared for daytime clinical programming. About Pacific Shores Recovery Pacific Shores Recovery is a residential treatment program specializing in substance use disorder care. The clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a 12-Step Program to support long-term recovery and behavioral change. Core Responsibilities Maintain a safe, controlled, and structured environment throughout the overnight shift. Conduct routine facility rounds and client checks in accordance with program policy. Monitor client behavior, ensuring compliance with house rules and program expectations. Document observations, incidents, and shift activity accurately and in real time. Clean and maintain common areas, ensuring the facility meets operational standards. Prepare and reset vacant rooms (cleaning, staging, and supply restocking). Support early morning transitions, including client wake-up routines and readiness for programming (IOP/PHP). Communicate relevant updates, concerns, or incidents to clinical and leadership staff during shift handoff. Respond to emergencies or behavioral escalations using approved de-escalation and safety protocols. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold a recovery-oriented milieu. Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or substance use disorder settings preferred. Ability to remain alert, attentive, and responsive during overnight hours. Strong observational and documentation skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently while following established protocols. Basic understanding of crisis intervention and boundary setting. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
