Job Description

All-women's residential substance abuse, mental health and trauma-informed facilities in Novato is seeking Recovery/Clinical Techs to join our fun, engaging, and supportive team! The role of the Recovery/Clinical Tech is to provide peer support and health/safety monitoring to our residential clients in either our primary substance abuse or mental health facilities. They will be trusted to provide a safe, healthy, and open atmosphere that is conducive to support recovery and healing. Avery Lane is a long-term, gender specific, all-women's center specializing in substance abuse, mental health, and trauma. We offer both residential substance abuse and residential mental health facilities. We are not the standard treatment program, we really are creating something different for our clients and focusing more on their underlying issues, including trauma. Our goal is to bring on new team members that have experience either personally or professionally in addiction/addiction treatment, that is passionate in supporting newly recovering women.
Job Duties:
Manage and supervise all clients in treatment during your shift Act as peer support for clients while they are stabilizing, and/or in early recovery Know, understand, and manage all client expectations and maintain program structure Take objective shift notes that contain all necessary information and communicate as needed and effectively to all members of team Attend and participate in weekly Operations team meetings Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid California Driver's License Minimum of one years experience in mental health or addiction treatment preferred Computer literacy and ability to work with various Microsoft Office Programs Communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work as a team member and provide problem solving techniques Ability to speak and write in English Ability to work with clients with ages 18-65 and varying cultural and religious backgrounds

2:30pm - 10:30pm
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
