Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Full Time schedule available Five 8-hour shifts, to include every other weekend floating to various units.
SIGN ON BONUS
of $5,000 for evening shift! (A 2 WEEK
ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY 8
30A- 5P) Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

Key Responsibilities include:

Tuition Assistance Job Requirements:
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or similar previous experience with adults in a behavioral health setting. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service and organization skills, highly effective listening skills, and strong clinical skills.
Experience:
Two (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Additional Requirements:
