Summary:
Provides oversight and coordinates the group activities and events for Behavioral Health Services.
Responsibilities:
Provides individual peer mentoring and/or recovery coaching. Participates in outreach and aftercare recovery activities.. Contributes to new member and renewal member campaigns.

Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Other skills include time-management skills, knowledge of community resources and strong written communication skills.
Required Work Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
Other Information:
Must include lived experience of recovery from mental health or substance use disorders.

Complete WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) training within 6 months of hire.

Must obtain the Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) designation within 18 months of hire.
