In this role, you will support individuals with diverse behavioral health needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and addiction challenges. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Implement behavior management plans using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors Conduct medical documentation including recording vital signs, medication administration, and behavioral observations accurately and promptly Support crisis intervention efforts by managing emergency situations with calmness and professionalism Assist with intake assessments and data collection to monitor client progress and inform treatment strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical staff, and educators to coordinate care plans Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical records documentation Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education principles, and addiction counseling methods Ability to handle sensitive situations involving PTSD care, autism support, and behavioral challenges with empathy and professionalism Excellent communication skills for effective social work interactions and patient care coordination Valid certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus; willingness to obtain relevant training if not already certified Join us in creating a positive impact through energetic engagement and transparent communication.
