The Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Ensure all Mental Health Technicians are complying with program policies and procedures. Complete and manage MHT schedules. ( Shift covered as needed) Ensure daily schedule and program structure is being followed by MHTs Assign daily/shift tasks for MHTs and ensure the compliance of these tasks. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding residents with Therapists, Psychiatrist, Nurses, and Teachers Train new MHTs on program procedures, structure and paperwork. Conduct QA/QI of MHT documentation Conduct shift and monthly meetings with MHTs Ability to implement change Provide in-service trainings as needs arise Demonstrate skills in the areas of leadership and relationship building with MHTs. Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of children and ensure performance of daily self-care tasks assisting when necessary. Demonstrate care, compassion, respect, integrity, truthfulness and ethical behavior with children as well as interactions with other staff members. Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents. Utilize Verbal and Physical Interventions to ensure the safety of all clients Communicate all relevant resident information obtained by daily Supervision to appropriate treatment team members in a timely basis. Understand and comply with all laws, regulations, and ethical practices. Understand the duty to report a belief of a violation of laws, regulations, standards and ethical practices. Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a MHT and supervisor Must have a valid FL driver's license Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screen
