No Responsibilities:
Provide crisis intervention and assessment for adults, children and adolescents, to make recommendations for treatment that provides the least restrictive environment to meet the individual's needs for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. Coordinate the Intake/psych ED waiting area in conjunction with other intake/ED Team Members to ensure the care, welfare, safety and security of persons served. Responsible to coordinate with law enforcement, other hospitals, central access and outpatient agencies by providing phone screening and triage for individuals needing placement in a behavioral health receiving facility. Respond to telephone and in-person requests for referrals to internal and external sources. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree•Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Special Education, Health Education, Human Services; Or•Bachelors•
Related Field Required Experience:
Required Experience includes 1 years' Mental Health Mental Health internship with 6 months Acute emergency care preferred.
