Mental Health Technician II Position Details:

Shift Hours:
- 6:45 PM
- 7:15 AM or 6:45 Am
- 7:15 PM +
Weekend Work:
- Every Other +
On Call:
No The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. + Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN. + Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.- _BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including:_

Required Certification/Licensures:
+ BLS (Basic Life Support) + CNA (Nursing Assistant)- preferred + Patient Care Technician

Required Education:
+ High School or Equivalent + Associate's degree in related field- Preferred + Bachelor's degree in related field
Preferred Required Experience:
+ Mental Health Technician II- Required 6 months of Psychology based experience or bachelor's degree in related field + Mental Health Technician Pool
