They observe all patient activity and report back all of their findings to the appropriate departments. A BHT will also be responsible for completing intakes for new patients just entering the program. It is of the utmost importance to represent our center as a safe and comfortable place for any individual struggling to heal from the circumstances that brought them to us. We deal with any individual who struggles with substance abuse and alcoholism. The BHT is also responsible for driving the company vehicles to ensure clients arrive safely to our center or to a lower level of care to continue their treatment. This position is full-time opportunity. Diamond Behavioral Health is looking for motivated individuals who have a passion for helping others and are looking to grow within our company. •Experience in the mental health field is preferred•
Specific Areas of Responsibility/Duties:
Developing and following a daily structure for clients. Transporting clients to and from the center, when necessary. Instructing and confirming the company's rules and regulations to new admissions. Performing new admission intake paperwork. Orientating new clients to the facility and the residential facility. Evaluating quality of program on an ongoing basis. Attending clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information. Building positive relationships with staff, physicians, and clients. Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment. Following Infection Control Guidelines at all times. Completing and forwarding copy of Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues immediately to the Supervisor. Providing a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients. Providing a daily report on the hourly rounds made that shift, to the supervisor. Facilitating client's rules and responsibilities and reporting noncompliance to supervisor. Assisting in other daily duties requested by supervisor.
