Job Description

About the Role Manna Treatment is an outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) mental health program providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children (6+), adolescents, and adults. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (Tech) to support our adult IOP program during afternoon and evening hours. This role is ideal for someone interested in mental health, counseling, or social services and looking to gain hands-on experience. Why Join Manna Treatment? Gain direct experience in a clinical mental health setting Work alongside experienced therapists and clinical leaders Collaborative, team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow within behavioral health or clinical careers Consistent, structured schedule Position Overview The Behavioral Health Technician supports the clinical team by helping ensure the smooth operation of IOP programming and maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients. Key Responsibilities Support IOP group programming and daily operations Assist clinicians during group sessions as needed Help facilitate or co-facilitate group sessions as appropriate Monitor client engagement, behavior, and safety Maintain a structured and therapeutic environment Communicate observations and client updates to clinical staff Assist with client check-in/check-out processes Ensure program spaces are organized and prepared Support documentation and administrative tasks Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred Experience facilitating or co-facilitating groups strongly preferred Previous experience in mental health, healthcare, education, or human services is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in emotional or fast-paced environments Interest in behavioral health and working with adolescents Additional Requirements Must be available Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM Background check required
