Join our dedicated team as an Addiction Recovery Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate care and structured support. In this role, you will provide direct assistance to participants navigating recovery from substance use disorders and mental health challenges, ensuring their safety, well-being, and progress toward long-term recovery and stability. Your energetic and proactive approach will help foster a positive environment where participants feel empowered, supported, and motivated to achieve their treatment and recovery goals. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing valuable skills in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and integrated co-occurring disorder treatment. Responsibilities Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating conflicts and ensuring participant safety in high-stress situations Transportation of participants safely to outside activities. Provide timely, accurate and objective documentation of participant's daily activities using in-house electronic health record system Supervise and support participants through their recovery journey, ensuring adherence to program guidelines Implement behavioral health strategies and behavior management techniques to promote positive change Manage data entry, filing, and collection of participant information accurately for case documentation and reporting purposes Monitor participant progress through regular check-ins, documenting observations and updates in participant records Maintain security protocols within the facility to ensure a safe environment for participants and staff Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Possesses physical and mental health that is adequate to perform job duties. Self-identified person in recovery must have at least one (1) year of sobriety and/or mental health stability. Must pass pre-hire requirements including an enhanced criminal background check and drug screening. Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Experience in behavioral health or a current Recovery Coach, is highly desirable Knowledge of conflict management techniques and practices Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with participants, families, and team members Valid first aid certification; CPR certification is a plus Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality Join us in making a difference! Pay:
