Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Rehabilitation Technician, where your energy and dedication will directly impact patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will assist physical therapists and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. Whether working in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or post-acute care environments, you will be a key player in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence. Responsibilities Support chiropractic physicians by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient exercises and modalities Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities, responses, and progress notes in accordance with hospital or clinic protocols Ensure the cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces Educate patients on post-treatment exercises and home care routines to promote ongoing recovery Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans across inpatient, outpatient, and sub-acute settings Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy relevant to rehabilitation practices Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Familiarity with medical terminology used in hospital medicine, orthopedics, geriatrics, and post-acute care environments Prior hospital or clinical experience working with inpatient or outpatient populations Understanding of acute care procedures and intake processes for new patients Experience working in orthopedic or geriatric rehabilitation settings is highly desirable Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced hospital or clinic environments This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
