Job Description
Responsibilities Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is hiring a Supervisor of Behavioral Health Techs! The Supervisor of Behavioral Health Techs is a member of the interdisciplinary team who assists in total client care through implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches within the therapeutic environment. The BHT Supervisor is responsible for overall supervision of the unit milieu programming including providing supervision and training for direct care staff and ensuring compliance with daily program schedule. Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is a 97-bed facility located in Springfield, Illinois. We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We are the only facility of our kind in Central Illinois! We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides supervision of Behavior Health Technicians and works collaboratively with Nursing Leadership and nurses to ensure patient needs are met. Supervises all activities of the behavioral health technicians and lead technicians on all units, requiring frequent rounding. Ensures documentation and review of treatment plans, daily behaviors, and individualized goals. Assists in orientation as needed and oversees staff onboarding for designated shift. Completes designated staff performance and competency evaluation. Acts as the main point of contact for therapists and clinical team for program operation information and communication. Works collaboratively with Treatment Team in assisting in the development and implementation of individualized behavior program for each patient. Conducts routine audits; submits written and verbal reports by required deadlines. Attends core team meetings, in-service trainings, treatment plan meetings, and pertinent meetings relevant to management of patient programming. Facilitates continual growth of nursing staff through support, education and resources as needed. Ensures the environment of care is being maintained and safe for patients and staff. Facilitates group programming and direct patient care as needed.

Experience:
Two (2) years' experience psychiatric health care facility, preferrably as a Behavioral Health Tech.
