Mental Health Tech / Behavioral Health Tech#26-20036 $13.47 - $16.91/hour Henryville, IN Onsite 13 weeks Job Description Our client, a Behavioral Health company, is looking for a Mental Health Tech / Behavioral Health Tech for their Henryville, IN location.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include monitoring behaviors, documenting observations, facilitating groups, assisting in crises, and promoting therapeutic activities. Ensure client safety and wellbeing through continuous supervision Conduct safety checks and manage belongings Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups Document client progress and vital signs Apply de-escalation techniques and assist in emergencies Support recreational activities and treatment goals
Requirements:
Mental Health Tech Or Behavioral Health Tech (Preferred candidate will have experience working with patients experience detox or withdrawals)
Required Certifications/Education/Licensure:
BLS and CPI (can get on-site upon starting) . This role provides supervision, support, and engagement for clients in a safe, structured environment. High school diploma or GED required Prior experience as a Behavioral Health Associate (minimum 1 year) Experience supporting similar client populations is a plus Familiarity with mental health conditions, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
