Behavior Technician Job Summary:

Join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician where you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral health support to individuals with psychiatric needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at behavior management, crisis intervention, bedside care while ensuring the well-being of our clients. As a Behavior Technician, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for individuals under your care through patient-centered interventions and support.

Duties:

• Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals with psychiatric needs.
• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
• Conduct patient observation checks and complete vital signs as part of the treatment plan
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive behavioral health support
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to patient care
• Provide patient care with a focus on empathy, respect, and dignity

Experience:

• Prior experience working with older adults or individuals with psychiatric symptoms is preferred
• Familiarity with behavioral health practices and interventions
• Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and efficiently
